Carrot Halwa with Milk

Instructions

1. Grate the carrots.
2. In a pan, boil the milk.
3. Meantime melt the gee
4. Add the grated carrots to the milk, reduce heat and continue stirring.
5. The carrots will soften in the milk, and the mixture will reduce and thicken.
6. When the milk has evaporated, add the melted ghee.
7. Continue stirring; add the sugar and cardamom powder.
8. Stir and cook until the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan.
9. Garnish with cashew nuts.
